Poles trust the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity


84% of Poles trust the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, emerges from the most recent research performed by IQS agency. Our charity leads the ranking among different organizations, non-profits and institutions. The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity has been enjoying overwhelming public trust for twenty years. It is also referred to as the most trustworthy entity among various public and non-profit organizations in Poland. 

Last year's public opinion study is the latest in the series of polls showing that the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity enjoys overwhelming public trust in Poland. 84% of respondents named the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation a trustworthy organization. 52% claim that they trust our charity a lot, while 32% argue that they have some trust in the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. 

The ranking also mentions other non-profits: Ewa Błaszczyk's Foundation "Akogo?", Anna Dymna's Foundation "Mimo Wszystko", "Szlachetna Paczka" - Wiosna Association, which has 81% public trust, and Polish Red Cross, which has been named a trustworthy organization by 74% of respondents. 

It is worth noting that the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity enjoys the trust of the younger respondents. 88% of people between the ages of 16 and 29 trust our charity, whilst in other age brackets, such as ages 30-44 and 45-55, 82% of respondents trust our non-profit. 

Another interesting aspect of the Polish public's attitude towards non-profit organizations is illustrated by the recent ngo.pl research, which clearly shows that 56% of Poles trust non-governmental organizations. What is more, personal contact with an organization (as a volunteer or a beneficiary of its work) considerably increases the trust in the organization, with 74% of respondents claiming to trust NGOs. In conclusion, more than half of respondents think that non-governmental and non-profit organizations are more effective in aiding and providing support than governmental institutions. 

What else does the research reveal? 

The research also provides an invaluable insight into the emotional connotations that the public has with our charity. The public associates our charity with pleasant emotions and positive qualities. Asked about qualities which can be used to describe the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, respondents, first of all, referred to qualities such as openness towards people, feeling of being part of a large community and being together. Other characteristics used to describe the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation include feelings of joy, trust, social activism. 86 % of respondents claim to like our charity.
