Eco vibes at Pol'and'Rock Festival

It's about to be clean – does this slogan ring a bell? Pol'and'Rock Festival goes eco once again! The GOCC Foundation is proud of festivalgoers for their cooperation to keep the most favourite piece of land clean. Here are some of the eco-friendly solutions prepared by the Foundation this year.

Firstly: It's about to be clean

The Eco Initiative - 'It’s about to be clean' campaign was launched in 2018. It is thanks to the support of the festivalgoers that the GOCC Foundation is able to raise funds for the purchase of bin bags. Peace Patrol volunteers distribute them among the participants to facilitate cleaning up. When the bags are packed, the festivalgoer can put them in one of the 51 containers! In this way, the Czaplinek-Broczyno Airfield will be left unaltered.

Second: green shopping centre

There are no plastic bags available at the festival shopping centre. None of the exhibitors has them at their stands. What's more, at the festival SiemaShop stand, make-up bags are made from old festival banners. That's an eco initiative Pol'and'Rock Festival can get 100% behind!

Third: our partners are also eco

One can buy a drink in an RPET mug made from 100% recycled materials in the Lech zones. These cups are also recyclable. Moreover, the cans and plastic wrappings for Lech's multi-packs are also recycled. And if festivalgoers want to clean up, Lech has prepared 30,000 bin bags to help.

Play, in turn, in keeping with the festival tradition, has prepared a huge charging station where one can plug in a phone and relax for a while in the shade. Two zones will – in the eco-friendly spirit – be powered by solar and wind energy!

Fourth: Water at the Festival

First and foremost, festivalgoers are encouraged to save water at the Festival. It's important for the planet. There are two points on the field: Bravo and Charlie sanitary zones with potable water, where festivalgoers can fill up their bottles. This way they do not have to buy bottled water, which will reduce the amount of rubbish produced.

Fifth: eco AFA

The GOCC Foundation wants to be a change for the better, to build a responsible and aware civil society with festivalgoers. That is why every year there are numerous guests, NGOs, foundations, and associations invited to the event. They will address significant topics during the debates, simulations, or workshops. One of the issues that periodically appear at the Academy of the Finest of Arts is ecology and healthy lifestyles. This year, there will be six organisations that promote ecological activities:

At the AFA the Pol'and'Rock Festival audience can also take part in eco workshops:
