The most beautiful moments from the 28th Pol'and'Rock Festival

The 28th Pol'and'Rock Festival came to an end. Without a doubt, it was a difficult edition of the wonderful event, but there were also plenty of magical moments.

This year’s Festival was full of extraordinary experiences. With the hope that memories will be encrypted in the participants' hearts, the GOCC Foundations shares the list of the most captivating moments of Pol’and’Rock Festival 2022.

Exceptional conference on board an old Ikarus bus

On 3 August at 2:00 p.m. CEST - even before the official start of the Festival – a unique press conference on a bus was held. But it wasn't just any bus, it was the so-called Ikarus from the 1980s. Special guests: Olgierd Geblewicz – Marshall of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and Marcin Naruszewicz – Mayor of Czaplinek, joined the bus trip around the festival field.

A festival full of love

The Promoters have known for a long time now that together with the Most Beautiful Audience in the World, they create the Most Beautiful Festival in the World. This year the participants have shown this even more clearly! The festival holds such a special place in participants' hearts that quite a few festivalgoers decided to choose Czaplinek-Broczyno as the venue for their engagement. Congratulations to the just-engaged couples.

Ukrainian flag at Jinjer concert

“Ukraine, we stand with you!” - said Jurek at the opening of the Festival. To emphasise these words and to make a gesture of solidarity with Poland's neighbours,  the flag of Ukraine was raised at the concert of the Ukrainian band Jinjer. The GOCC Foundation is grateful for the audience's help in preparing this surprise.

Light show at Kwiat Jabłoni concert

Anyone who knows Kwiat Jabłoni, is aware that they can move their audience to tears. This time it was no different. When the band sang a song called “Buka”, they dared the audience to turn on the torches on their mobiles. It was just magical.

Equality march

It has been known for a long time that the Festival is, above all, about wonderful people, full of tolerance, openness, and warmth. Here, everyone can feel themselves. That is why one of the NGOs, Lambda Szczecin, organised the Equality March at Pol'and'Rock Festival for the third time.

Huge Polish flag at Skindred concert

The band Skindred played at Pol'and'Rock Festival in 2011 and later in 2014. Now they have returned to the event, replacing Limp Bizkit, who had been forced to cancel their tour. The GOCC Foundation wanted to make the Skindred concert special, so during the encore song, the Peace Patrol volunteers, with the audience’s help, unfurled a giant Polish flag. It was a really touching moment.
