Press conference | Medical and training equipment for police

On August 4th, a unique press conference was held at the Press Center during the 29th Pol'and'Rock Festival. Jurek Owsiak handed over medical and training equipment to the Police Crime Prevention Unit based in Szczecin. Journalists and guests present at the conference also heard about current activities and the most important events of the first days at the Festival.

Equipment worth more than 20 thousand zlotys

Police officers, Superintendent Irena Kornicz and the Press Team of KWP in Szczecin, were present at the conference. They talked about recent events and successes from the area. They thanked for the support from officers from other police garrisons, as well as the help of other uniformed services in recent days.

The main purpose of the police officers' visit at the conference was to present them with medical and training equipment. It was purchased at their special request – the total value of the products was 20,198.10 zlotys. The equipment will be used by officers of the medical team of the Police Crime Prevention Unit in Szczecin.

Purchase meeting the needs of officers and residents

On the purchased equipment there will be training sessions conducted for officers as well as residents. It will enable them to better learn first aid rules. During the conference, a paramedic presented to the gathered audience one of the donated products – the R-1 Bag with emergency kit. Thanks to it, first aid on the scene can be carried out much faster and more efficiently. And, consequently, more effectively.

A mobile device for monitoring the effectiveness of performing CPR
XFT-120C training defibrillator
Rescue kit R-1 bag
Therapeutic defibrillator
Wound simulation kit

Pol’and’Rock Festival Poland (formerly known as Woodstock Festival Poland) is the biggest music event in the country and one of the biggest in Europe. The first edition of the Festival was held in 1995 by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation as an acknowledgment for volunteers’ contributions during the winter Grand Finale fundraiser.

29th Most Beautiful Festival in the World will be held between 3-5 August 2023 at the former Czaplinek-Broczyno Airfield. Czaplinek is located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland, between the Drawsko and Czaplino Lakes, ca. 125 km from Szczecin. The Pol'and'Rock Festival is a free, unticketed event. The first announced stars of this year's Most Beautiful Festival in the World are Apollo 440, Spin Doctors, Biohazard, Carpenter Brut, Brodka, Napalm Death, DRAIN, While She Sleeps, Zalewski, Saint City Orchestra, Bullet for My Valentine, Royal Republic, Get The Shot, LemON, Rise Of The Northstar and Hoffmaestro, among others.
