Run for charity

The family-friendly 5K run will take the runners on a scenic route across Warsaw, but there are friendly charitable races happening everywhere in Poland and even abroad.

The orange-clad runners took part in the race to show their support for people struggling with diabetes and to back our Foundation's initiative to introduce universally accessible first aid education for all primary school children. The run is held under the motto: 'Get Even with Diabetes and Learn CPR' and it traditionally takes place on the day of the Grand Finale.

There are 106 cities where the run will be held - each time in a different guise - in 106 locations across the country and in Stavanger, in Norway. All proceeds made from the sale of the starter packs will go towards two of the Foundation's programmes: purchasing insulin pumps for pregnant women with diabetes and running CPR for Schools programme.

Inside, the white space studio tent is teeming with activity - there are live broadcasts made from the studio, we are visited by thousands of Warsowians and tourists alike, who want to take a peek inside the space dome. People drop by to donate items for charitable auctions.  There are thousands of listings to choose from on aukcje.wosp.org.pl site - some unique souvenirs donated by celebrities, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and sentimental mementoes.
