Flapjack returns to Pol'and'Rock Festival

Welcome the Polish hardcore icon, Flapjack, to line-up of the 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival! For fans craving the raw sound of rebellion, this is an unparalleled opportunity to bask in the energy and power that Flapjack delivers.

Since its inception in 1993, Flapjack has transcended mere band status to become a legendary force in the music scene. Founded by vocalist Grzegorz “Guzik” Guziński, guitarist Jahnz, and members of Acid Drinkers, Flapjack's debut album “Ruthless Kick” in 1994 garnered critical acclaim, earning them a nomination for the Fryderyk Award in the “Phonographic Debut of the Year” category.

The band's recent reunion, spurred by the tragic passing of vocalist Grzegorz Guziński, breathed new life into their legacy. Paying homage to Guzik through concerts under the banner of “Tribute to Guzik,” Flapjack found themselves back in the studio, resulting in their latest release, “Sugar Free”. This eclectic album infuses metal, rap, and hardcore elements, offering a refreshing take on the Polish music scene reminiscent of the era when stage diving was the norm.

Notably, Flapjack graced the stage of the 12th Woodstock Festival in 2006, leaving an indelible mark on the audience.

Today, Flapjack's lineup boasts esteemed musicians who continue to carry the torch of this legendary band. With Robert “Litza” Friedrichem (Luxtorpeda), Maciej “Ślimak” Starosta (Acid Drinkers), Maciej Jahnz (Orgasmatron), Rafał “Hau” Mirocha (Dynamind), and Michał “MIHAU” Kaleciński (Truism), Flapjack promises an unforgettable performance at the 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival Main Stage!

The 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival

Formerly known as Woodstock Festival Poland, Pol'and'Rock Festival is, above all, a great musical adventure, during which the ideals of the original Woodstock’69 are brought back to life. The festival, held in Poland since 1995, will send, for the 30th time, the sounds of Peace, Love, and Music to the ether!

The festival goers will meet again at the former Czaplinek-Broczyno Airfield to cherish the values of freedom, brotherhood, and rock'n'roll (but not only!) between 1-3 August 2024, during the jubilee edition of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World. Among the artists who have already confirmed their performance are CelKilt, Electric Callboy, Motionless in White, Kasia Kowalska, Less Than Jake, The Warning,  Myrath, Clawfinger, and Sick Of It All.
