Mery Spolsky at the Pol'and'Rock's Second Stage

Mery Spolsky stands as a beacon of artistic brilliance, impossible to ignore. She's vocal about her aspiration to grace the stage of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World, and this summer, her dream will materialize as she takes over the Second Stage at the 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival!

For Mery Spolsky, music isn't just about the melody; it's a symphony of lyrics, messages, and visuals. Her performances are a testament to the harmonious fusion of these elements. A virtuoso of electronic beats and infectious rhythms, each album solidifies her stature among Poland's elite artists. Driven by an insatiable desire for creative exploration, she tirelessly experiments, carving out new realms of expression within her own Spolsky universe, a realm full of diversity, acceptance, and liberation.

She made her debut with the album “Miło Było Pana Poznać” [Eng. “Pleased to Have Met You”] (2017) and then strengthened her position with the album “Dekalog Spolsky” [Eng. “Spolsky's Decalogue”] (2019), which included the hit “Bigotka”. Mery Spolsky has become known as an unparalleled lyricist. Using her literary talent, in 2021 she published a book entitled “Jestem Marysia i chyba się zabiję dzisiaj” [Eng. “I'm Marysia and I think I'm going to kill myself today”], which sold tens of thousands of copies. She then recorded an innovative audiobook, turning chapters into songs.

She has been nominated for the Fryderyk Award several times, won the title "Woman of the Year" by Glamour magazine, and is a laureate of the Grzegorz Ciechowski Award. She has played hundreds of concerts, including at the biggest and most important festivals in the country. She made her dream come true by playing as a support act for Coldplay at the National Stadium. Thanks to her exceptional charisma, she also excelled in the role of a host, among others, during Top of the Top Sopot Festival or the Fryderyk Awards Gala.

The artist is currently promoting her third album, 'EROTIK ERA'. This time, she looks at themes relating to sexuality, body positivity, shame, relationships and expectations of women, and gives uncompromising expression to these in her lyrics and music videos.

The 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival

Formerly known as Woodstock Festival Poland, Pol'and'Rock Festival is, above all, a great musical adventure, during which the ideals of the original Woodstock’69 are brought back to life. The festival, held in Poland since 1995, will send, for the 30th time, the sounds of Peace, Love, and Music to the ether!

The festival goers will meet again at the former Czaplinek-Broczyno Airfield to cherish the values of freedom, brotherhood, and rock'n'roll (but not only!) between 1-3 August 2024, during the jubilee edition of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World. Among the artists who have already confirmed their performance are CelKilt, Electric Callboy, Motionless in White, Kasia Kowalska, Less Than Jake, The Warning,  Myrath, Clawfinger, Sick Of It All, Flapjack, Flogging Molly, T.Love, MEUTE, Modestep, Enej, and Guano Apes.
