Rotting Christ to perform at the 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival!

Rotting Christ, the Greek icon of black metal, joins the lineup of the 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival!

Rotting Christ is a band that has shaped the landscape of extreme metal for over three decades. Formed in 1987 by two brothers Sakis and Themis Tolis, the band quickly gained recognition in the black metal scene with their incredibly dark and original sound. Their debut album, "Thy Mighty Contract" (1993), laid the foundation for their career, blending elements of death, heavy, and gothic metal with the ever-present spirit of black metal. Their latest album, "The Heretics," is another milestone in their 35-year career, deeply inspired by ancient and pagan wisdoms.

Rotting Christ continuously evolve their sound while remaining faithful to their roots. From their debut album, "Thy Mighty Contract," to their latest work, "The Heretics," the band experiments with sounds, creating monumental compositions that transfer the listener to distant times. Their music is a blend of intense riffs, mesmerizing choirs, and neoclassical arrangements that move both the body and the soul.

Rotting Christ is not just an undisputed metal legend but also a group that continues to grow and evolve, never losing the authenticity of the legacy it has created. Rotting Christ concerts can be compared to rituals that initiate a journey through the dark recesses of the human soul, and their music remains an inspiration for generations of metal fans. The Main Stage of the 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival will be on fire!

30th Pol'and'Rock Festival

Formerly known as Woodstock Festival Poland, Pol'and'Rock Festival is, above all, a great musical adventure, during which the ideals of the original Woodstock’69 are brought back to life. The festival, held in Poland since 1995, will send, for the 30th time, the sounds of Peace, Love, and Music to the ether!

We will meet again at the former Czaplinek-Broczyno Airfield to cherish the values of freedom, brotherhood, and rock'n'roll (but not only!) between 1-3 August 2024, during the jubilee edition of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World. Among the artists who have already confirmed their performance are Celkilt, Electric Callboy, Motionless in White, Kasia Kowalska, The Warning, Less Than Jake, Myrath, Clawfinger, Sick Of It All, Flapjack, T.Love, Flogging Molly, Enej, MEUTE, Modestep, Guano Apes, Orkiestra Dorosłych Dzieci, Paktofonika Live Band, Mery Spolsky, Zenek Kupatasa and Coma.
