Preliminary Financial Report of 25th Grand Finale

The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation recaps purchases and expenses made with the funds raised during the 25th Grand Finale fundraiser.

The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation makes sure to provide a detailed and conscientious financial report on how it allocated funds raised during the international public charitable collection, known as the Grand Finale. The main objective of each fundraiser concerns the purchase of modern equipment for different branches of medicine.

What is more, the Foundation runs and finances medical and educational initiatives and purchases rehabilitation equipment for individuals. Our accounting period takes up to a year and a half - we must wait for all contracts to be filled and equipment to be delivered to medical facilities to be able to publish the final financial account.

We can now publish a preliminary financial report of the funds raised during the 25th Grand Finale fundraiser, which took place in 2017. We have raised 105 570 801. 49 PLN (almost 25 000 000 EUR). We have spent  105 599 933,08 PLN - covering the additional costs of equipment from the money raised throughout the year (individual donations, wills, corporate donations).

Medical theme of the 25th Grand Finale focused on purchasing equipment for paediatric wards in public hospitals in Poland. The charity has also purchased equipment for geriatric wards and financed the running of its medical and educational initiatives.
