Rules and Regulations for Journalists during the 32nd Grand Finale


26 & 28 January, TV studio and concert grounds at PGE Narodowy meadows in Warsaw.

  1. The media may perform their work within the main TV studio premises, from where the event of the 32nd Grand Finale (hereinafter referred to as "the Grand Finale") is broadcast live, and within the concert grounds - at PGE Narodowy meadows - only if they received a permission granted by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation in the accreditation procedure held at the GOCC Media Platform.
  2. The media working within the TV studio premises and concert grounds have access to the areas signposted by the Organizer only. 
  3. All journalists accredited to work at the Grand Finale, who are holders of the valid press card, shall perform their professional duties during the Grand Finale following the provisions of the applicable laws (incl. i.a. the act of 26 January 1984 "the Press Laws"), moral norms, and journalist ethics. In particular, journalists are required to respect the Grand Finale attendees’ right to refuse to participate in any publications and to obtain attendees' permission to use their images in different publications. 
  4. Journalists performing their duties during the Grand Finale must adhere to all laws and regulations introduced by the Organizer and keep their personal "MEDIA" badges visible. The personal "MEDIA" pass confirms the journalist is accredited to the event. 
  5. The Organizer offers access to the Press Centre - a designated workspace for the accredited journalists and media staff, and provides the access to: all necessary materials and updates reg. the Grand Finale; free access to the Internet and workspace; the assistance in drafting press releases and in preparing interviews with guests and musicians. 
  6. The Organizer holds two accreditation procedures for the events related to the 32nd Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in Warsaw: 1) for the press conference before the 32nd Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (January, 26, at 12:00 CET, TV Studio of the GOCC Grand Finale); 2) for the events during the 32nd Grand Finale (concerts, press conferences, interview with guests at the studio) organised on January, 28. 
  7. Applications for accreditation will be accepted only at the GOCC Media Platform. Any applications submitted after the deadline might not be considered. 
  8. Submitting an application for accreditation is tantamount to accepting these Rules and Regulations for Journalists during the 32nd Grand Finale. 
  9. Submitting an application for accreditation is not equivalent to receiving accreditation for the event. 
  10. There are no accreditation fees. The process is free of charge. 
  11. The pool of "MEDIA" passes is limited. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse to grant accreditation without specifying the reason. 
  12. Introducing any change in the submitted application will not be possible during the Grand Finale. The "MEDIA" passes are personalized. 
  13. Accredited journalists are not allowed to use their “MEDIA” pass to grant entry to the Press Centre to any third person. The passes are personalized, cannot be shared, and are valid only for persons to whom they were granted. 
  14. In case of a failure to provide valid data in the application form, the request might not be considered. If the data provided in the accreditation process turns out to be invalid, the accreditation will be withheld.
  15. These Rules and Regulations will be available at the Organizer's office, at media.wosp.org.pl under “Downloads”, and at newsroom-en.wosp.org.pl.
  16. The Organizer reserves the right to make amendments to these Rules and Regulations, provided that such amendments do not infringe upon the rights granted to individuals with accreditation and that they become effective after being announced on the aforementioned websites.
  17. The amendment to the Rules and Regulations mentioned in point 16 will be enacted by publishing the revised text on the Organizer's website, as specified above, along with the effective date of the amendment.
