The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation is a public benefit organisation registered under Polish law staying on the top among the most trusted public entities in the country (according to Brand Asset Valuator). The Foundation has raised over PLN 2 000 000 000 in aid of public healthcare in Poland. The charity supports public healthcare in Poland by purchasing state-of-the-art equipment for Polish hospitals and clinics.

The 1st Grand Finale fundraiser was held in January 1993. It was meant to be a one-off happening to raise money for the cardiac surgery ward at the Children's Memorial Hospital in Warsaw. The spectacular success of the first effort inspired the establishment of the GOCC Foundation.

The 32nd Grand Finale was organized on 28 January 2024 under the theme: “Post-pandemic lungs. We play for kids and adults alike!” and was dedicated to raising funds to purchase equipment for diagnosing, monitoring, and rehabilitating pulmonary diseases in both children and adults. The motto for this year's event was: We're all in tune! 

The GOCC Foundation holds an annual summer music festival - Pol'and'Rock Festival (previously known as Woodstock Festival Poland). The event is a way of saying “thank you” to everyone involved in the winter fundraiser.

The 30th edition of Pol'and'Rock Festival will take place at the Czaplinek-Broczyno Airport in West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland between 1-3 August 2024.

The core values of the summer fest are love, brotherhood, tolerance, and rock'and'roll! Pol’and’Rock Festival is an unticketed, free-of-charge event open to everyone who cherishes the power of kindness, friendship, and music.
