The tradition of the Village

Marching in unity
It brought together not only international volunteers, but also friends and supporters of the GOCC.
Encouraged by the Village organisers, participants brought flags and symbols representing their home countries and cultures. The march was open to all.

Together till the end of time and one day longer
A truly warm atmosphere, openness, and a strong sense of community create a space where everyone can feel at home.
This is living proof that GOCC brings together not just Poland, but the entire world.
A few words from the Village members
The GOCC Bonn Collection Centre marks its presence at the Pol’and’Rock Festival 2025. Every year, our group grows. We’re fully charged with positive energy and ready for this year’s fun.

The Altena Collection Centre (Western Germany) is here for the sixth time. We love the relaxed and friendly vibe, and the chance to bond with other Centres at the International Village. We wait all year to meet up again with these amazing people from all over the world. We have been here since Saturday with our ‘partner’ Centre from Wales. Cold nights? We keep warm by singing loudly into a wooden spoon we use as a makeshift microphone.

We have returned to the festival as it is a fantastic time for all of us to come together and experience magical moments at the Most Beautiful Festival in the World. We talk to other Centres about organisational matters, share ideas and inspiration, discuss what works and what does not. It is a unique moment to just be together. We rarely see each other and miss one another dearly, so we want to make this time last.Newport Collection Centre is always partnered with Altena, and we spend time before and after the Festival together. We co-create the International Village – and that makes the experience even more rewarding, as our Village becomes a gathering point that feels like the centre of the world, because there are so many of us.

Once again, I am at this exceptional and unique Festival. It is another edition for us, full of unforgettable atmosphere, unmatched energy, and tons of positive emotions. This year we brought flags and a ‘London’ sign that was proudly displayed at the Main Stage.
