Peace Patrol – present throughout the festival!

For thirty years, the Peace Patrol has been active at the Pol'and'Rock Festival. Officially, the red T-shirts are an information service. But in practice, they do much more on both sides of the stage.

At this year's Festival, there are over 900 Peace Patrol volunteers and more than 240 Medical Patrol volunteers. These people are the backbone of the event. They are the first point of contact for festival-goers seeking help. The Patrol always rises to the occasion.

Mobile Groups

The Peace Patrol has a wide variety of tasks at the Festival. PP can be spotted all over the Festival grounds in small groups, walking back and forth. These are the so-called mobile groups. They ensure that the time participants spend at the Czaplinek-Broczyno airfield is the best it can be. This colloquially known "patrolling" is crucial because help might be needed at the most unexpected time. Even the smallest assistance, such as answering a simple question like "Where is the SiemaShop?", is important. Therefore, the Foundation encourages all Festival-goers not to hesitate to approach and ask for help.

Fixed Groups

There are also fixed groups operating within the Festival grounds, which are less visible. Running the SiemaShop, the Lost Property Office, or guarding the entry gates – all of this is managed by volunteers. Peace Patrol volunteers are also responsible for creating posts for Festival’s Instagram and Facebook pages.

All the special tasks that go beyond the norm… Distributing sunflowers at the Festival's start. Sector flag at the biggest concerts or helping festival-goers with securing their flags to Main Stage. All the unconventional tasks wouldn't be possible without the Peace Patrol volunteers.

Medical Patrol

Within the Patrol, its mobile and fixed groups, there is also the Medical Patrol. They look after the health of the participants and can quickly reach any location in the field to provide assistance. The effectiveness of their actions depends on the speed and accuracy of the information relayed.

The Foundation thanks NotiOne, who equipped all members of the Peace Patrol with locators. These devices provide the exact position of the volunteers, accelerating the Patrol's operations.

Patrol activities are also supported by Expansio, the creators of the Peace Patrol app. This app is a vital source of information, both about the Festival itself and the internal organisation of the group’s work. With such support, the Peace Patrol can operate more efficiently and swiftly!

Patrol Diversity

The activities of the Peace Patrol are as diverse as its members. Tall, short, older, younger – everyone has a place in this organisation.

Finally, a huge thank you from the organisers to the participants for the trust and respect they have for the Peace Patrol. This trust is the foundation that has allowed the creation of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World for thirty years!

30th Pol'and'Rock Festival

Formerly known as Woodstock Festival Poland, Pol'and'Rock Festival is, above all, a great musical adventure, during which the ideals of the original Woodstock’69 are brought back to life. The festival, held in Poland since 1995, will send, for the 30th time, the sounds of Peace, Love, and Music to the ether!

We will meet again at the former Czaplinek-Broczyno Airfield to cherish the values of freedom, brotherhood, and rock'n'roll (but not only!) between 1-3 August 2024, during the jubilee edition of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World. Among the artists who have already confirmed their performance are Celkilt, Electric Callboy, Motionless in White, Kasia Kowalska, The Warning, Less Than Jake, Myrath, Clawfinger, Flapjack, T.Love, Flogging Molly, Enej, MEUTE, Modestep, Guano Apes, Orkiestra Dorosłych Dzieci, Paktofonika Live Band, Mery Spolsky, Zenek Kupatasa, Coma, Transgresja, Sokołowski, Rotting Christ and Michael Patrick Kelly.
