Shortly after 12:00 today, Jerzy Owsiak officially opened the gates of the 31st Pol’and’Rock Festival. Despite less-than-ideal weather forecasts, thousands of attendees showed up, quickly filling the festival grounds with excitement and anticipation.
Rain or shine - people showed up!
The weather hasn’t been particularly kind to holidaymakers in Poland this summer. Not exactly warm, but not freezing either. With rain forecast in many regions, uncertainty loomed over plans for time off. But despite the gloomy skies, the festival grounds were filled with people as the gates opened.
All this for our donors
Today, the first attendees entered the grounds of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World, an event that also serves as a heartfelt “thank-you” for your support during January’s Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. Every concert and activity, organized by the Foundation in partnership with its supporters, is an expression of our deep gratitude to everyone who helped make the Finale possible.
As always, Pol’and’Rock Festival features two stages packed with music. From rock and metal to pop and hip-hop. The full artist lineup and event schedule are available on the Festival’s official website.
But there’s much more to experience at Czaplinek-Broczyno airfield. Each of the Foundation’s partners has prepared something special for festivalgoers.

People for people
Allegro has been a long-time supporter of both the GOCC Grand Finale and the festival. Their booth is always a fan favorite, and this year is no exception. In addition to the iconic Ferris wheel offering a beautiful view over the grounds, their zone features attractions for both children and adults. Contests with prizes for the little ones and board games and RPGs hosted by Black Monk Publishing for older attendees.

The Academy of the Finest of Arts, supported once again by mBank, remains a core part of many festivalgoers’ experience. Our Partner has once again ensured that the AFA Tent is a place for meaningful dialogue. Join us for inspiring sessions with notable guests including Szymon Majewski, Wojciech and Marcin Mann, and Ewa Chodakowska, who appears as mBank’s special guest.
The PZU Zone invites all visitors to care for their health and safety in the spirit of the Festival. PZU also supports our educational programme, CPR for Schools. This year’s training incorporates VR technology to teach first aid. Additionally, dietitians and dermatologists are available to offer free health consultations. For the brave, there’s a rollover simulator, offering a powerful reminder of the importance of safety.
This year, Tyskie joins the Festival as a partner, offering a special zone in the heart of the grounds. Attractions include a photo booth, DJs, and a VR driving simulator, perfect for immersing yourself in the fun.
The team at Play has created a dynamic purple zone full of surprises. Festivalgoers can charge their phones, grab fun gadgets, and even get a temporary rock tattoo, all while soaking up the festival energy.
Lidl, the festival shop,is ready to welcome its first customers! Just steps away, Lidl’s Rock Island offers a laid-back chill zone with deck chairs and a new addition this year: reverse vending machines for PET bottles.

Our gracious hosts from West Pomerania Voivodeship have created a lush, jungle-inspired zone. Join them for morning yoga, a game of dodgeball, feed a parrot, or a lesson in the art of survival. That’s just a small preview of what’s waiting in the West Pomeranian Jungle!
