The Festival gates are open. The World’s Most Beautiful Festival kicks off in two days’ time

The 32nd Pol’and’Rock Festival officially kicks off on Thursday 30 July at 3.00 pm. The line-up features world-class icons such as Godsmack, P.O.D. and Dropkick Murphys. There will also be plenty of stars from the Polish music scene: Myslovitz, Dżem and Nocny Kochanek. On the Second Stage, we’ll see, amongst others, bands selected from the Emerging Bands Competition, for which 700 bands entered. Performing for the Pol’and’Rock audience will be, amongst others, Lej Mi Pół, ADHD and Atmosphere featuring Marcin Rozynek.

The Academy of the Finest of Arts will, as is traditional, host meetings with prominent figures. Our guests will include Agata Kulesza, Julia Szeremeta and Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski. This year, the meetings will start earlier than usual, at 9.00 am. We wanted to ensure that participants attending the last discussions had time each day to make their way to the Main Stage so they could watch the first concerts from the very start.

The patron of the Academy of the Finest of Arts is mBank. The bank has also set up its own area where visitors will be able to work together to paint a huge picture, go roller-skating and watch concerts from a special terrace overlooking the Main Stage.

This year’s edition of the Festival introduces a significant new feature. A ‘Be Healthy’ area has been set up, dedicated to preventive healthcare. Here, training sessions will be held four times a day – reportedly ideal as a warm-up before the concerts.

The safety of festival-goers remains a priority, which is why a team of nearly 200 medical professionals – including doctors, paramedics, nurses, psychologists and volunteers qualified in First Aid – is on hand to look after the health of festival-goers. At the heart of the operation is a modern field hospital, which is already up and running. It is equipped with, amongst other things, X-ray and ultrasound machines, as well as defibrillators. We have set up four medical aid points across the Festival site. This means that anyone who needs even the slightest assistance – for example, with a cut – will be able to count on immediate help from our medical staff. The emergency services have at their disposal a fleet consisting of 7 ambulances and 7 quad bikes, enabling a rapid response at any point across the Czaplinek–Broczyno airfield.

The Festival’s Partners are heavily involved in organising the event and have set up dedicated activity zones. PZU, as the official insurance provider, invites visitors to its zone, where safety and prevention are presented through hands-on experiences. You’ll be able to take to the racetrack, try out the rollover simulator or learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) whilst wearing VR goggles.

Dawtona is supporting the festival edition of the “Get Even with Diabetes” run for the fourth time; the event has now become a permanent fixture on the festival programme. Among the key attractions on the festival map is the Allegro zone, featuring the traditional Ferris wheel and competitions at the One Box machines. In the Play zone, you’ll be able to pick up a free starter pack with 200 GB of data, which, combined with guaranteed 5G coverage, will allow you to share your most wonderful memories from Pol’and’Rock with your loved ones. The Western Pomerania zone is focusing on pop art this year. Local icons will be at the helm of the fun: the epic cat Gacek, the monumental ‘crane-saurs’ and the legendary Szczecin paprykarz. At the same time, visitors will be able to have health checks and access consultations on men’s and women’s health, as well as education on diabetes.

Lidl will be serving festival-goers for the sixteenth time. It’s a 24-hour festival supermarket where prices are exactly the same as at your local discount store.

The audience of TVN will also notice their increased presence at the Festival. The AFA will be hosting Marzena Figiel-Strzała, Bartek Dajnowski and Radomir Wit, all well-known from the channel. Discussions with other fine arts academics will be hosted by journalists associated with Warner Bros. Discovery: Ewelina Witenberg, Łukasz Jedliński and Joanna Kryńska. Live coverage of the Festival will be available on Dzień Dobry TVN, TVN24 and Player.

The Crunchips brand, meanwhile, is helping us keep the Festival clean – they’ve supported our ‘It’s About to be Clean’ campaign. Throughout the Festival, we’re handing out bin bags to people, which is why the Pol’and’Rock Festival is so clean. Rubbish from the campsite goes straight into the bins in these bags.
