Olga Tokarczuk visited with Jurek Owsiak to donate the first official replica of her Nobel Prize Medal to our charity. The beautifully crafted official gold-plated replica of the Nobel Prize in Literature will be auctioned off in aid of the medical objective of the Grand Finale fundraiser. The Medal, which is identical to the solid-gold medal awarded to the novelist at a ceremony in Stockholm has already attracted plenty of attention.

First official replica of Nobel Prize medal
Tokarczuk received her Nobel Prize Medal in Stockholm on December 15th this year. Each Nobel Prize Laureate is permitted to request up to three official replicas of the medal, which are all crafted by the same masters working for the Nobel Foundation. The replicas can be donated to universities, museums and other organizations by the Laureates.
