Since the launch of the registration process, over 900 Collection Centres - regional hubs for the fundraising activity - applied to hold their local editions of the Grand Finale fundraiser.
Our fundraiser is a staple in the social and community calendar for generations of Poles. The Grand Finale fundraiser is the event filled with joy, community spirit and activities which make it such a special day for the entire country (and vibrant Polish communities overseas) to enjoy. Each Grand Finale is unique because it's organized by different Collection Centre. It's the creativity with using local resources, relying on the community to deliver an unforgettable event that creates a strong bond with local activists and their neighbours.
How many Collection Centres have been registered so far?
We have 759 Collection Centres which have successfully gone through our online registration process. 201 applications are still under consideration, and there is still some time to apply to become one of the main players in the upcoming Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. We can reveal that most Collection Centres are based in Mazowieckie Voivodeship, with the capital city of Warsaw leading when it comes to the number of Collection Centres based in one city.
Apart from Collection Centres based in Poland, we have registered Collection Centres run abroad. International Centres will host inspiring fundraisers in Czechia, Great Britain, Republic of Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Norway, France, Luxembourg, Russia, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, the US, Tanzania, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, and Japan.

What fundraising options are there?
The Grand Finale fundraiser is traditionally associated with hundreds of thousands of volunteers taking to the streets to collect money and distribute our red stickers. However, we prioritise the health and safety of our volunteers and members of the public, and we will roll-out solutions which aim to limit the risk of coronavirus infection and transmission.
Stationary Collection Box
This collection method suits business owners, who would like to display our Collection Box on their premises. The Collection Box can also be displayed at different fundraising events. Each Collection Box should be registered in our database, and it should have a designated person who oversees the collection.
Online Collection Box
This collection method suits owners of different websites. It allows you to run a collection on your site using different digital fundraising methods. Each online Collection Box, just like a physical Collection Box, must be registered in our database.
What is more, the charity will be rolling out various digital forms of fundraising. At the beginning of December, we will launch our online eCollection Box - a digital Collection Box which will be available for each our registered volunteers. Bidding in the online Allegro auctions and other online methods of support allow our benefactors to donate from the safety of their homes.
