As many as 1,015 bands applied for the 15th edition of the Emerging Bands Competition for the 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival. From among 119 foreign bands (from 44 countries!), the jury chaired by Jurek Owsiak selected 2 foreign bands that will perform on the Second Stage of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World! The Polish winners of the Emerging Bands Competition will be announced on July 5-6, during a live concert at DOK Ursynów!
The winners of the Emerging Bands Competition receive a unique prize – the opportunity to play at the 30th edition of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World and present their music to a wider audience. Last year, we selected 8 winners of the Emerging Bands Competition who played on the Second Stage of the 29th Pol'and'Rock Festival – .bHP, Etna Kontrabande, Jagoda Kret, Múlk, Wojtek Szumański, DOCTOR VICTOR, Rootstone and Uuhai. Thanks to the Emerging Bands Competition to Pol'and'Rock Festival, you also had the opportunity to meet and see live such bands as Nocny Kochanek, Tabu, Enej, Łydka Grubasa and Kwiat Jabłoni.

Divine Shade
Divine Shade is a neo-industrial rock project founded in Lyon, France in 2014. The band skilfully combines styles and influences inspired by cold wave culture, industrial and electronic music. They have two critically acclaimed EPs and three European tours under their belt. Divine Shade have performed in legendary venues such as Wembley Arena (supporting Gary Numan) in front of 12,000 people!
Nini Music
Nini is a folk-metal composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist from Taiwan. In her music, she combines the sounds of ancient Asian instruments such as the sanxian, ruan and liuqin with modern elements of contemporary rock, metal and EDM. The result is powerful, emotional and dynamic songs that tell the fascinating stories of Taiwanese folk legends. Get ready for an electrifying journey into the heart of Asian musical heritage.
We invite you to a live concert!
We are back with live Emerging Bands Competition concerts! On July 5 and 6, we invite you to the Dzielnicowy Ośrodek Kultury Ursynów (ul. Kajakowa 12b in Warsaw). Admission will of course be free! The concerts are scheduled to start at 4 p.m, and we will play until the evening. Two days will mean a total of 18 short concerts by Polish bands competing for the chance to perform at the Most Beautiful Festival in the World.
We have also planned special concerts: Transgresja will play on Friday, July 5, and Pull The Wire on Saturday, July 6! Both bands took part in the Emerging Bands Competition and won the opportunity to play at the Most Beautiful Festival in the World!
This year's Emerging Bands Competition are almost 300 applications more than last year! We received a total of 896 applications from Polish bands and 119 from foreign bands from 44 countries (Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Georgia, Spain, Netherlands, Indonesia, Ireland, Canada, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Macedonia, Malta, Morocco, Mexico, Germany, Norway, Peru, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA, Sudan, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, UK, Italy).
