Aga and Bartek Wrzosek – the travel duo known from the Calluna Trip project – join the AFA 2024 guest lineup! The meeting with the couple who embarked on an incredible journey around the world will open this year's AFA meetings.
The meeting with Calluna Trip travelers will take place on Thursday, August 1st at 10:00 AM.
In 2019, Aga and Bartek gave up their previous life to embark on the journey of a lifetime in a 50-year-old bus, a 1972 Volkswagen T2. For 10 months they traveled across North America, from the Great Lakes of Canada to the Californian deserts, admiring breathtaking landscapes and meeting extraordinary people. Their motto is: "traveling for moments, people and smells". Aga and Bartek focus on authentic experiences, letting themselves go with the flow and getting to know local cultures away from the tourist trails.
In 2022, they fulfilled another dream - they reached Iran. Traveling through Turkey and Georgia, they were delighted by the culture and hospitality of the East. In Iran, despite the unsettled political situation, they experienced the extraordinary kindness and openness of the people. They visited colorful mosques, historic cities and traditional houses, learning about the rich history and culture of Persia. They admired the diversity of Iranian nature, climbed the sandy dunes of the Varzenah desert and slept in the wild under the stars.
As part of the meeting with the Calluna Trip duo, we have prepared an additional attraction for you! During the conversation, a parade of iconic hippie buses will take place in the vicinity of the AFA!
During the meeting at the Academy of Fine Arts, Aga and Bartek will share their travel stories with the Most Beautiful Audience in the World. They will take us to their favorite places, tell us about amazing encounters with people, and show us how to find happiness and freedom on the road. It promises to be an unforgettable meeting full of inspiration and positive energy!
