Stand-up Polska is a group of artists for whom live comedy is not just a job, but a passion. Transforming their experiences, thoughts and doubts into stage performances, they bring audiences across Poland to tears with laughter. Their repertoire combines dark humour, absurdity and unconventional references, while also encouraging reflection and offering a fresh perspective on the world around us.
Stand-up Polska guarantees brilliant entrtainment. Their shows are meticulously crafted structures, full of original jokes and the signature styles of each comedian. The diversity of the artists' interests ensures that each performance is a unique and unforgettable experience.
In keeping with tradition, the Stand-up Polska crew will be kicking off the festival with a bang with their witty comedy show on Wednesday, July 31st at 8:00 PM, the day before the official opening of the 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival. Please note that the show will be held in Polish only.
The Stand-up Polska crew performing at 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival is comprised of geniuses of Polish humour:
- Łukasz Kowalski - a well-deservedly liked comedian with the soul of a musician, who instantly connects with the audience. He translates his slow-paced life into lightning-fast jokes. A hearing-impaired comedian who represents Cisie, where he also runs his original stage "Stand-up Cisie". He took part in the Mam Talent TV show [Eng. "Poland's Got Talent"]. He got 3 YESes, yet decided to stop there.
- Tomek Skrzypek - a comedian who fell in love with absurdity. His humour is a combination of absurd thoughts with clever punchlines, and a touch of that strange scratching at the back of the head that makes the audience wonder where he comes up with it. He also creates comedic content on his social media.
- Wiktoria Chachulska - claims that life is a circus and people are acrobats maneuvering around its arena. In the hustle and bustle of everyday acrobatics, we deserve to be wrapped in absurd jokes, wanting nothing in return. On stage, she pulls buffoonery out of everyday life, pondering seemingly trivial things. Why do we do things this way and not that way, and why is that way not the right way anymore? The important thing is that it's all worth laughing at.
- Karolina Pańczyk - a comedian supposedly from Warsaw, but actually from Turek. She performs regularly at the Comedy Club and Niplodram, with whom she creates improvised shows, sketches and short films (awarded, among others, the Grand Video Awards). For 6 years she had been preparing scripts for her own television programs. Owner of a nice face and horrible thoughts. Wears oversized Adidas sneakers.
- Maciek Adamczyk - comes up with and tells jokes so that he can sit on his allotment and grow vegetables from April to September. He cooks, mainly from what grows in his garden. He hosts radio shows. He hasn't won anything, although he has taken part in various programs where you could win at least prestige.
- Senior Suarez - comes from Wola, but not on his own. He is interested in mushroom picking. In his spare time he listens to Budka Suflera and Bajm. Comes from a non-noble family, from ancient times. He trades successfully at the shopping market.
